Stop Please

Where are you going O traveler, dear friend
And where on Earth have you been?
Pray stop for a while at this humble space
And relax a bit if you please

What do you do in your life my friend?
And how do you do it may I ask?
Pause and tell me your story please
Before you get on with your task

What is your purpose, your motive my dear?
What beckons and moves you as your goal?
Share your learnings and learn some here
And maybe that will change your world!

Where is your home, O noble one?
And to whom do you really belong?
Sing me the song of your heart please
Tell me the tune and I’ll hum along

When did you start your journey my guest?
And when do you think it will end?
Many are my questions as you can attest
And your answers would be heaven sent

Stop on your tracks for some moments please
And ponder on my questions deep
You know your answers; they are within
And when you find them… enjoy the treat

I too was running, running for long
And passed by another who had stopped
I was asked these questions, and they struck home
And I found my answers when I stopped.
